About CHI

Community Housing Initiatives (CHI) is a non-profit 501c(3) Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) serving Cobb and Cherokee counties in Georgia.  Our vision is "Fulfilling the American Dream of homeownership in our community".  Our mission is "to enhance our community by providing a full range of affordable homeownership programs and services".
 

Objectives:

Educate prospective homebuyers and current homeowners to be financially fit and able to maintain their homes.

Develop safe, attractive and affordable homes and neighborhoods.

Revitalize neighborhoods for low-income residents.

Increase number of homeowners among low-income population.

Develop more efficient methods of construction to lower maintenance costs for homeowners.
 

Community Housing Initiatives has been dedicated to revitalizing neighborhoods since 1992.  CHI delivers a full range of programs and services that effectively break down barriers by providing affordable housing opportunities.
